What causes website design cost to go up?

The factors that cause website design cost to increase are the number of pages, complexity of content and complexity of functionality required.

• Number of pages: For Evans Design, we charge $75 per page for each one over 20.
• Complexity of Content: Complex content can increase the cost because it increases the amount of time and the number of people needed to build the site. Examples of complex content would be audio, video or custom photography.
• Premium Functionality: The great thing about WordPress is almost some level of all existing functionality is freely available. However, there are times when functionality needs to be extended to meet specific needs. At Evans Design we identity those circumstances, discuss with the client and then pass approved costs on to the client.
